I am a psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working primarily with individual adults and couples. After serving college students for eight years as a campus staff worker with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, I earned my M.A. ('05) and Psy.D. ('08) degrees in clinical psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology (Biola University) in metro Los Angeles.

My graduate training provided me with clinical experience in a variety of settings ranging from several outpatient clinics to a Veterans Administration and LA County hospital. As a graduate student, I was employed as a therapist at the Biola University Counseling Center. I completed my clinical internship at Southern Illinois University's Counseling Center, an APA Accredited site.

Following the completion of my doctoral studies, I joined the Christian Counseling Center in Grand Rapids, MI as a staff psychologist where I gained valuable experience working with adults and couples for six years. In the fall of 2014, I transitioned to private practice. I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Michigan and a member of the American Psychological Association.

I have been married for 26 years and have two adult children. Besides spending time with family and friends, I enjoy running, hiking, discussing spiritual formation, watching movies and college sports, traveling, and various activities that help me engage with the natural beauty of Michigan and beyond.
